Did any one hear of a state in which it takes longer for a green card holder (permanent legal resident) to get licensed then for an us-citizen? (Assuming all other requirements were completed -education, idp, ARE, etc...)
Thank you,

I don't believe such discrimination is legal.

Coach,
I remember hearing it from somebody. I think the delay had an explanation, I just can't remember the details of that conversation.

Thank you,
Sounds like a he said/she said rumor. Why not just call NCARB and/or the licensing board in your state??

It's probably a rumor. I only had a work visa, didn't even have a green card when licensed. Compared to the US citizens in my office, the time to process paperwork didn't seem any different.
