I've been a long time lurker and infrequent poster on this forum but I wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone's efforts on this blog and I know for sure that I wouldn't have passed without it. I was fortunate enough to pass all seven on the first try and I think the exam order was a big part of my success. My order was as follows: CD, PPP, SPD, BS, BDCS, SS & SD (saved the easiest exam for last when I was fully burnt out). The overlap between sections was actually fairly surprising. I knew going in to it that CD, PPP & SPD were all similar but I there's a ton of overlap between the others as well. For example I definitely would have failed BDCS had I not taken BS immediately before hand and same with structures had I not taken BDCS before that. I also found that I was able to cut down on my study time as I went because the study material overlapped a bit. I used Ballast pretty much exclusively, supplemented with Kaplan; except for structures where I purchased the Thaddeus lectures. I also made my own study guides of the Ballast book which I found helped me to internalize the material much more effectively than just reading through the chapters or using other people's guides. It was a obnoxious to write out for the long sections like BDCS but definitely worth it in the end. Hope this helps and good luck to everyone still testing!!
