Test Taking Advice

Postby trekkster » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:36 am

Hello All!
I wanted to see how everyone else was preparing for this exam. I recently took it and failed. Not taking as a loss but a learning experience. Now that I've seen it, I am not so sure where to focus study wise to be more prepared for the wide ranging topics of questions that can be thrown at us. What has everyone been using? I have mostly stuck with the Ballast and Brightwood study guides and Designer hacks. What else can I use to bolster my knowledge and streamline the info that is required to know to conquer this baddie?

Just using those few sources your bound to have minimal luck passing. Other resources like MEEB, architects studio companion, etc. are needed to be studied. The handbook has all the resources you need in the reference matrix at the end, although you need to select just a few. Look through the handbook too for focus of areas to study.

Look over other posts and you will find good sources people have successfully used. Including this wonderful forum!
