When do you use unit price?
A) programming
B) SD
C) DD
My answer would be SD phase but I’ve seen people used it during programming to benchmark big ideas.
Comments appreciated.
nrlina wrote:"Unit Price" is the amount per unit the contractor uses when they are bidding on the project. So it should be CD phase, which is not even an option you listed. For programming and SD phase, area/volume estimates is what is used typically as you are still in the design phase and do not know how many "units" (such as how many doors/windows/etc.) of items you are going to need.
