tilt-up construction

Hello I had a question, Is tilt-up considered "Cast-in Place" or "Precast"? My thoughts are Precast is made off side with controlled conditions, while cast in place is created on site and subjected to local environmental conditions. Any insight would be great.

Thank you!

Tilt-up is technically precast.

It can be precast delivered to site or precast on-site. When it's erected, it's pre-cast.

The bottom line is this, when you say "cast-in-place", place = final location and position.
