Post-tensioned Concrete Span

Post-tensioned Concrete Span

Blackspecs states that post-tensioned concrete can span more than 180'. From multiple reference material it states that post-tensioned concrete slabs have a span of 60'-65'.
Am I missing something here?

I would use Fundamentals of Building Construction's span table. This is a primary source (which I don't have with me right now). I don't think that Building Construction Illustrated's span table addresses post-tensioned concrete beams. However, span questions tend to fall within recommended ranges, so your 60-65' range is more likely to be what the exam is looking for.

60-65' is right. Looks like BS screwed up some metric conversion because 60' is about 18 meters.
