i'm not going to make the deadline to finish 4.0 so need to transition to 5.0 now. i already have the Amber book and the thaddeus material. has anyone tried to use the 4.0 amber book and thaddeus to pass 5.0 and were successful?

I have heard of successes but I don't think that PPD and PDD are about BS, BDCS, SS as much as it seems.

So far my knowledge from CDS, PPP, and SPD has helped me more than anything. I do not recommend Amber personally for 5.0 - although you'll learn a lot of valuable information. I just didn't see it show up on PPD or PDD

Thaddeus material will help but 5.0 is MUCH lighter on structures so its probably overkill.

I think you can use some 4.0 material its just figuring out what parts are actually still used in 5.0 that is tricky.
