Took my first ARE 5.o exam this morning, PPD division. I had previously passed three of the ARE 4.0 exams. I was concerned about what I might find on the 5.0 version of the exams. Having taken it, I do like the format. Just like the previous tests from 4.0, there were plenty of questions that landed in the gaps of my studying. some the diagrams were confusing or just poor in my opinion, but not a deal breaker.

I would suggest using multiple sources for studying. I didn't find one that covered the exam material on it's own. This is a broad exam topic and its reflected in the range of exam questions.
