Hi everyone,

I'm retaking PPD next week I wanted to know as far as lighting calculations what's a good resource for Calculating lighting using the lumen or zonal cavity method? Figuring out the number of lighting fixtures, spacing. I Was looking at Meeb book, it seems pretty complicated at least the way it's explained there. Your help is much appreciated thanks!

Thank you for the link! Definitely easier to follow, I hope the calculations are not this involved on the exam. The room cavity ratio is not on the provided formulas by ncarb.

Is vrcat's link enough lighting knowledge for this exam? I struggled with the lighting questions and want to ensure I know how to tackle them.

Of course not...that's why I said "it's a good place to START...obviously, you need to study MEEB, Ballast and other sources you can find...have you found any better sources on zonal cavity and do you understand that document I posted Ghost?
