Passed PcM using 5.0 reference matrix materials.
Fairly straightforward exam.

Congrats!! Just a couple of quick questions: How long did you study for this exam? From what I've heard and have witnessed so far, PcM and PjM share the same materials, just have different questions. Did you also study PjM along with it?

What exam are you taking next? I just passed C&E, which a lot of people were telling me to take it last, but since I have good experience with construction admin work, most of it was natural.

There is overlap to be sure, but many differences as well.
I studied off and on for 3 - 4 weeks for each exam I've taken. Make sure you look at the reference matrix for 5.0 study materials for each exam. The Ncarb forum is an active forum, and has answers to all your questions - get on it if you haven't already. This remains a great forum for 4.0, but there isn't much for the 5.0 candidates.

I agree, there is not much here for 5.0

HI, there - what do you mean a "reference matrix for 5.0 study materials?"

Hi stefanation --

Wow -- yours is the first post on the Practice Management division here since June of 2017.

Here's the refence marix https://www.ncarb.org/sites/default/files/ARE5-Handbook.pdf

Make sure you log into your NCARB page and forum to get input on this and other ARE essentials.

Good luck!
