Where to Start

After I last passed my last ARE back in June of last year, I took the rest of the year off and I"m just finally getting back to finish this off. First thing I'm trying to do is get my hands on some study materials. I know where's couple of threads floating around on this topic, but can anyone point me a direction on what would be a good starting point? I'm looking to get something that i can study holistically, something that can cover everything.
Another question would be test locations. Anyone had taken this outside of US? I read up on the test provider and it looks like they have places in Asia but i couldn't really confirm for sure without actually booking a spot.
