BIDDING & CONSTRUCTION RESOURCE

BIDDING & CONSTRUCTION RESOURCE

Postby KDOLAT » Mon Jan 07, 2019 4:24 pm

Is there any good resource for bidding and construction section of this exam that goes over different scenarios and examples?
I got the lowest score last time in this section, around 55%.

I studied AIA documents, WOO, and Enchilada, and all the tests, and went over the agency websites and links. Felt very good about the questions on the exam, especially the construction related ones (!) but got the lowest score in this section. I also do have enough experience in construction related services and CA.

Thank you

If I had to guess, I think you may have had problems with relationship and problem resolution questions. CAB leans toward cooperation and minimizing adversarial relationships. So don't approach things as if architect is god.

Review relevant sections in AHPP.

Also, make sure your answers are appropriate for the phase. Similar questions set in one phase will often have a different answer than if taking place in another phase.

Coach do you think the Student version is adequate for review?

Yes. If there are any topics you need expansion on you can find more on the web.

Does anyone have the AHPP chapters outlined for the CSE?
