ASTM E119 or UL 263 are these interchangeable with regard to the CBC? In Section 703.3 of the CBC it says that both can be used but in practice is one used more than the other for confirming the fire rating of a system?

That's why it says "or".

In Section 703.3 of the CBC it says that both can be used but in practice is one used more than the other for confirming the fire rating of a system?

Why does it matter?

Worrying about this type of detail won't help you pass.

All of this studying has gotten me thinking "wouldn't it be hell if the exam had to make you choose one or the other?" it being multiple choice and all... anyways thanks for the reality check.
