Exam Structure

Hi everyone,

I had a tough time dealing with my first ARE exam because I didn't know what to expect going in. The CSE format is different than the ARE so I'm trying to understand what happens on exam day. Some of the questions I have are:

1- is there a break between the Project Scenario and the General?
2-How many Project Scenrios in the new format?
3-Do all the questions have only one answer? Or are there choose all that apply questions
4-What do they give you first? The Project Scenario or the General. Can we choose what to do first?
5-Are there any references we can use for the exam?

Hello.

1 - There is no break in-between. All time used for a bathroom break is testing time. I would suggest you use the bathroom during the General Section as there is more time allotted for it. Also worth noting is that you only have 5 minutes to use the bathroom at a time, so plan accordingly.

2 - I had one Project Scenario, but I know it can be up to two.

4 - They give you the Project Scenario first.

5 - Check out The Whole Enchilada and the Woo Mock Exams and Study Guide

Good Luck
