B201 additional services vs. basic services

I am confused about some of the additional services in B201. I can guess as to what these additional services mean, but I would like to hear if anyone knows for sure what these are really all about.

1) What is 3.1.3 "measured drawings"?
2) What is 3.1.14 "as-designed record drawings" and how is this different from the basic service drawings provided in 2.4 Construction Documents Phase Services?
3) 3.1.19 "coordination of Owner's consultants." How is this different from the basic service item 2.1.2, "The Architect shall coordinate its services with those services provided by the Owner and the Owner's consultants? Perhaps this is just when their work needs to be coordinated between eachother, but not with the architects services, such as a security consultant and an electrical consultant if they're both contracted with the Owner and it doesn't affect the architect's instruments of service?

OK, here's what I've got:

ORCO wrote:1) What is 3.1.3 "measured drawings"?

Measured drawings are produced for the sake of future renovations, or for documentation of existing property; see http://www.aia.org/aiaucmp/groups/secure/documents/document/aiap026835.pdf.

Record drawings reflect on-site changes; see same link as above.

Wow, thanks Matte. That's pretty clear.

In my office we always say we're going to do a survey of an existing building, I never realized I was making "Measured Drawings"

The as-designed record drawings, those are the same as record-drawings I guess? I was thinking the contractor never builds it as I've designed it...but I guess they assume you have designed the changes? This one is still throwing me off a little bit

Agreed; I'm a little confused on the distinction between 4.1.14 ["As-designed record drawings"] and 4.1.5 ["As-constructed record drawings"]. This has some additional information -- http://www.aia.org/aiaucmp/groups/secure/documents/pdf/aiap016379.pdf. The previous link also had some info on that.

From what I can tell, 4.1.14 is giving the client a set of drawings the same way they would be given to the Contractor for construction; 4.1.15 is giving the client a set of drawings that more closely mirrors what was built.
