CSE Pass

CSE Pass

Postby bulletproof » Tue Sep 02, 2014 1:45 pm

I took the CSE last Thursday and passed. I just wanted to let you all know what I studied because there isn't near the information out there on the CSE considering it's only statewide and the fact that the written portion is relatively new.

I spent nearly six weeks studying after taking David Doucettes seminar here in Los Angeles. I strictly focused on everything that Doucette provided in The Ultimate Whole Enchilada, but did not spend any time on the links that he provided in the study guide. For me, it felt like David covered all the highlights of his links and the links were a little overwhelming and I felt more time was spent searching than studying.

Trust The Ultimate Whole Enchilada, Davids done a great job of putting together a resource that will give you a well rounded understanding of everything California based as well practical knowledge. If you can pass the ARE's, you can definitely get through this one.

Good luck.

Written portion?! Do you mean written as in essay portion? The entire exam is in multiple choice, like LEED and ARE exam format.
No essay writing...

what a relieve... please don't scare me. I'm already scared by the fact that they added extra PS without any official anouncement.
