For the exam the architect is supposed to document an unsafe condition but not notify the owner or contractor. Then an injured worker can sue the architect for performing under AIA contracts but, would the architect be liable in the long run?

The architect should notify the owner and contractor if an unsafe condition exists. The architect must not recommend ways to correct the unsafe condition. This would assume liability.
