Schedule of values

Postby 212tbh » Wed Dec 20, 2017 8:19 am

I might be completely wrong but the contract after signing the A101 will submit a schedule of values to the architect. Is the G703 called continuation because it is the items that are added to the schedule of values? If there were no change orders would the contractor still submit a G703 with the G702 or just stick with the original schedule of values that I think is in the Contract Documents

I found this online but is the schedule of values not part of the Contract Documents or is it in Bidding Documents?

SOV essentially becomes part of the contract.

G703 is the itemization of what is entered in G702.

Thanks for the reply and clearing that up with the G703. Just to confirm, the SOV would be in the Bidding Documents?

No. How can it be when it's prepared by the contractor?
