Vignette 1st attempt Please critique

Postby dampok » Sun Jun 25, 2017 5:20 pm

First attempt at vignette. Please critique.
My biggest question is do we place the joist above the deepest duct in the floor even though the section is not cut at that duct location or do we use the deepest duct where section line is? Example the maximum duct depth is 20" on the first floor near the lobby however the depth of duct is 16" where section is cut. Am I supposed to place the joist above the 20" so that all the joist are at same level or above 16". The ARE GUIDE seems like it shows above the 16". Coach please help.
Thank you.

It appears partition wall has been drawn using fire rated partition wall. Please check. Foundation of interior load bearing wall is too low.

Dorf also shows the top of the foundations aligning with the top of slab. I'm not sure if this is something that would dock major points, but he suggests in his book that it should be done that way.
