NCARB sample CDS MC exam

Is the NCARB MC sample exam representative of the actual exam? I took it and it seemed much more straightforward than Kaplan and Ballast questions --

I have not taken the exam yet but that would be the main point why NCARB gives sample questions.

I think the sample MC NCARB provides serves more a s tool for you to get familiar with content of the exam and what areas you should study.

You'd think so, but give the test a try -- you'll see why I ask.
Seems a bit too basic.
