CDS Vig. Question

I'm sure this has been asked, but I can't find it. Does it matter where you draw the section? I see most draw it with grade at the A-A cut line, but the NCARB guide has it drawn above the plan.

You can do it either way and you will pass.

Personally I like the NCARB way because it is easier to read.

You can easily miss one of two duct sizes because there are so many overlapping lines if you do it the other way. This can cause a fatal error.
