2nd attempt-NCARB

Postby bahnbahn » Sun Oct 13, 2013 7:08 pm

I've decided to just go for the test on Friday and not reschedule. After reviewing ArchiFlash, I feel that I'm doing better, that Kaplan test just threw me for a loop. Here's my second attempt at NCARB, minding the other duct sizes in the spaces, not just the ones the section cuts through. I would very much appreciate any feedback if I've left something off. Thanks!!

It is hard to tell, but I think the non-rated partition on the first floor needs to pass through the ceiling plane and stop about 6" above. my reference is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lMWKP0mUaI at about 11:25 min. and the image on pg 17 on the CDS Exam Guide.

Thank you Dayzee! I was actually in my firm's new office space under construction this morning, and saw exactly what they mean by the 6 inches. Thank you for catching that!

This YouTube video is great and it answered my question thanks for posting the link! I feel I can set the vignette aside for a bit and get the rest of the study material down!

Doesn't your "center" footing need to also be at 5'-0" depth?
